Under limited supervision, and following established policies and procedures, produces quarterly product line reporting for Network entities, including all necessary drill down and sidebar analysis to fully understand/justify any variances that are outside established variance tolerances along with creating Access database to house final data for utilizing the product line data for profitability reporting. Adhoc profitability reporting with full understanding of potential downstream impact. Ability to provide input and insight of potential data analysis challenges/advantages. As financial liaison for completing the financial portion of the >$1,000,000 Capital budget and any emergency capital projects, a full understanding of capital projects is critical and expected to produce a consistent submission. Has a complete understanding of the cost accounting process, including overhead allocation methodology, reclasses, non-product line related expenses, inter-company transactions and be able to drill down for cost justification in profitability analysis reporting in order to provide data confidence to the customer base. Need an understanding of Chargemaster components and CDM standardization; ensures compliance with regulatory requirements; resolves problems and serves as a department resource on decision support issues.


Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's Degree with concentration in accounting, finance, business administration.
• 3-5 years Work in financial analysis, accounting, or related field, familiarity with computerized accounting systems, Intermediate or Advanced Excel experience required.
• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills to implement Network goals throughout entities.
• Requires a level of ability to comprehend, interpret and disseminate complex financial information
• Monitors assigned entity(s)'s decision support services strategies and goals; supporting and ensuring that entity strategies and goals which complement SSM Health Care System objectives. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and cost standards.
• Compiles data and prepares financial and operational reports used for planning and efficient administration by management. Develops pro-forma financial data, performs financial analysis of new and existing programs and prepares productivity analysis.
• Recommends methods to reduce entity operating cost and increase revenues based on market trends, financial reports and industry operating procedures.
