The Corporate Financial Analyst provides financial support for corporate departments across Maritz. This role generates forecasts and reports results, assists with capital allocation, determines corporate cost recovery, administers the forecasting and budgeting system, and performs financial analysis,

Primary Responsibilities

60% - Supports corporate department leaders with financial planning/budgeting, forecasting, reporting actuals, and other requirements requested by the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. Meets with department leaders monthly. Performs expense accruals and ensures that all transactions are properly recorded in accordance with GAAP. Assists with cost recovery analysis.

20% - Reports actual and forecasted capital expenditures across multiple subsidiaries to assist the Executive VP/CFO with cash projections and capital allocation. Invoices tenants monthly for rent and other expenses. Manages accounting for real estate leases.

20% - Assists with administration of the planning, budgeting, and forecasting system. Prepares account reconciliations. Ad hoc financial analysis and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting

  • 2 - 4 years of finance related experience.

  • Technical knowledge a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively with others at all levels of the organization. Familiarity with Oracle and Adaptive Insights a plus.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong mathematical, statistical and analytical skills.
