The Ceded Reinsurance department's mission is to protect the company's surplus through the purchase of reinsurance and provide accurate reporting of liabilities to our reinsurers, broker community, and internal employees, while encouraging innovation and creativity. We are responsible for collecting liability balances, reporting accurate financial statements, following contractual obligations, and ensuring security. Adhering to superior client service principles throughout this process allows our reinsurers and broker partners to become life-long customers and contributing members of our ceded reinsurance community.
Role Description:
In the role of Reinsurance Assistant (internally known as, Ceded Reinsurance Assistant), you will be part of the Ceded Reinsurance department. This is an Entry level position which is responsible for supporting the Ceded Reinsurance department through administrative functions
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Reinsurance Assistant will include
Assist with the processing of reinsurance placements from inception through termination and maintaining records of the files.
Assist in the processing, billing and collection of reinsurance claims.
Assist with Reinsurer Underwriting and Claims review process.
Assist with facultative broker visits and outings.
Assist with maintenance and entry of data in reinsurance systems.

In our vision to be First with Co-Workers, compensation is only one piece of the comprehensive total rewards package we offer. The target salary range for this position is $39,000 to $55,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location.
