Job Description

SUMMARY: Supervises the warehouse inventory daily and performs quarterly 80/20 inventory counts, as well as a weekly row and a total yearly count. Self-motivated individual that is able to prioritize and complete critical assignments in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned at management's discretion.

  • Receive and check in/out inventory on a daily basis using the computerized system. Perform other duties in this system as assigned.
  • Make delivery of parts to the RNG sites on a weekly basis.
  • Assist in setting up the warehouse for optimum accessibility, inventory, and security.
  • Understand and further develop relationships with vendors to ease the purchasing and receiving process.
  • Coordinate with vendors on the repair of equipment.
  • Handle labeling, updating, organization, and cleanliness of warehouse.
  • Work with maintenance to ensure items are properly shelved and reorder points are established.
  • Communicate with plant personnel when parts are received for plant use.
  • Make trips to pick up parts and equipment as necessary for plant needs.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and use of personal protection equipment.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of customers and visitors.
  • Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to use computers, have a complete understanding of inventory control system logic and the ability to learn and effectively use any and all other computer programs that are or will be made available. Must be Forklift certified and obtain MVR clearance to drive all non-supply vehicles as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management.
