All About You

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general direction, is responsible for systems management and data analysis related to student enrollment, admissions, and general college information for leadership decision making and accreditation within the College for Public Health & Social Justice.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Manage the student admissions and enrollment systems (Slate, SOPHAS, SOPHAS Express, HAMPCAS, and WebAdmit).

  • Work closely with Graduate Admissions Director on applications, statuses, and admit decisions; communicate decisions with applicants.

  • Analyze applicant and admissions data, create data visualization reports for leadership.

  • Manage college data collection, analysis, and tracking for CEPH and CAHME accreditation.

  • Work with academic program directors and coordinators to determine optimal data and reporting tools, and improve workflows.

  • Create and administer Facebook Groups for Admitted Applicants.

  • Provide Ad hoc reports for CPHSJ Dean and leadership team.

  • Partner with the SLATE team to bridge SOPHAS/SOPHAS Express/HAMPCAS admissions systems.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of education policies, procedures, and terminology.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.

  • Proficient in graduate student application systems

  • Proficient in data analysis reporting, including Cognos, Tableau, Qualtrics, as well as student tracking systems, including Internet Native Banner, Banner Self-Service, and AppXtender.

  • Programming knowledge in statistical software, such as R, SAS, or related software

  • Ability to analyze data and create data visualizations and key reports for leadership decision making and accreditation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree related to data analysis or related field

  • One to two years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree related to data analysis or related field
