The basics of this position:
The Enrollment service team represents the combination of new duties for Admission and Financial aid staff. The Assistant Director of Enrollment Services serves as the campus officer, liaison, and manager for admissions and financial assistance. The Assistant Director provides supervision and management of the Enrollment Service Centers, Welcome desks, Counselors, student workers, and other campus staff. Working under the leadership of the Executive Director and closely with the Associate Director of Enrollment Services this position will create a welcoming environment that is student focused.
Operating under best practices from national organizations such as NACAC and NAFSAA the Assistant Director will monitor systems to provide a seamless and integrated levels of service utilizing the CRM Recruit, BANNER, and other systems to assist and document the student's enrollment path. Working as a part of the enrollment service team to ensures compliance with all required federal, state, and college policies related to the mission and responsibilities of the office at the campus level.
The Assistant Director will provide information and appropriate services for current and prospective students throughout the enrollment and registration process, including admissions, placement testing, applying for financial aid, advising, and registration.
Collaborates with other departments to ensure that all financial aid processes are following policies, regulations for financial aid awarding, counseling, and record keeping. Educates the campus and community about the financial aid process and opportunities. Conducts workshops and seminars at area high schools for counselor and parents. Serves as the liaison for any other outside organization that will need information about financial assistance.
