Summary

The IT Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing large-scale IT programs. This role will define program scope, develop program plans, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful migration outcomes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT programs within the organization.
  • Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Develop and maintain program plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, operations, and business units, to meet program goals.
  • Monitor and track program progress, identifying and resolving any issues or risks that may impact program delivery.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and senior management through regular reporting and presentations.
  • Manage program budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on expenditures.
  • Conduct post-program evaluations to assess the program's success and identify improvement areas.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to IT program management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency initiatives within the IT program management function.

Qualifications

  • Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Proven experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, products, and other IT Project Managers.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent experience required
  • 10+ years of Project and/or Program Management experience required

Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in Atlassian JIRA software related to Agile Project Management.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project or SmartSheets.
