Position Summary: The primary objective of the Manufacturing Technician is to assemble a variety of electro-mechanical products while meeting quality and productivity goals, within a medical device manufacturing work environment. This person would work closely with fellow team members, the area Lead, and the supervisor to achieve quarterly team performance goals in the areas of Efficiency, On Time Delivery, Hours Reporting Accuracy, Scrap, and Inventory Accuracy. Essential Responsibilities: *Assemble a variety of electro-mechanical products according to work instructions, drawings, Bills of Materials, and wire diagrams per GMP *Operate and set up (as needed), production equipment/fixtures, as well as use of basic hand tools, electronic and electrical testing devices *Become proficient at multiple assembly tasks while meeting requirements for workmanship, safety, and productivity in a medical device atmosphere *Assist Senior Technicians in testing and validation of final assemblies *Assist Senior Technicians and Engineering staff in planning/development of new product prototypes *Initiate basic material requests, report quality issues, report efficiency, record measurements *Maintain the accuracy of identification and count of point-of-use materials. Accurately determine and report material shortages. Kitting of assembly work orders and proper inventory recording
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Skills: *High school diploma *2+ years' experience with electro- mechanical assembly highly preferred *Ability to write clearly, perform relevant calculations, understand the basic material flow from the stock room to finished goods, and Bill-of-Material structure *Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics highly preferred *Ability to solder preferred *Ability to operate material handling equipment highly preferred *Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. *Legally authorized to work in the United States Work Conditions: This role is a manufacturing position at Stereotaxis' headquarters. This position must have the ability to work varying shifts and occasionally lift 40 lbs. This position will work near x-ray labs and monitoring for exposure is mandatory.
