This opportunity is in the Information Technology Department.

Role Description:

You will be responsible or the collection, preparation, documentation and communication of IS requirements, both business and technical. You will demonstrate clear and working knowledge and concepts of Business Analysis and Information Technology. You will work independently on large/complex projects and will serve as a mentor / advisor to other Business Systems Analysts as required.

You will work closely with a delivery team, composed of development and quality assurance personnel, to deliver high- quality applications that meet/exceed business need.

In this role some of the essential functions are:

  • Act as liaison between all business departments and the Information Technology department
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and break down high-level information into detailed requirements documentation.
  • Ability to organize, facilitate and lead meetings with business users to identify requirements, understand and communicate scope changes, and gain user acceptance
  • Ability to organize, manage and lead the Business Partners through a vendor selection process including creation and processing of RFI and RFP documentation
  • Provide appropriate feedback to Information Technology Management
  • Raise impediments to daily work accordingly
  • Responsible for timely achievement of milestones and project completion

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in IT. Post graduate degree / work desirable

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of working experience in the Business Systems Analyst role
  • Thorough understanding of the IIBA BABOK Guide (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) and it's applicability to the position
  • Ability to facilitate user business needs and requirements sessions, articulate resulting requirements to the project team, and document results

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications and experience working in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise) methodology highly preferred.
  • Engaging and enthusiastic personality with a strong desire to learn through both structured formal education and self-directed activities
  • Experience working on software development projects that have progressed through the full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Experience in an agile environment is preferred.
  • Professional certification in the Business Analysis field is a plus.
  • Experience in Business Process Management and/or Robotic Process Automation is a plus
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience and geographical location.
