This opportunity is in the Claims Department.

Our Claims department oversees both high-exposure workers' compensation and liability claims. Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Reinsurance Technical Analyst will include:

  • preparing audit packages, processing transactions in the reinsurance claim system, maintaining systems data, running business reports, comparing bordereau spreadsheets to identify discrepancies and/or key data values, and coordinating daily and seasonal SOX compliance processes
  • Working closely with reinsurance claim examiners, Claim Operations, and Treaty Re Operations personnel to ensure that efficient workflows are identified, developed, and maintained
  • Assisting in the management and tracking of annual aggregate deductible (AAD), Claim Groups, and exposure monitoring reports
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and other ad hoc department business reports as assigned

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Has an advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and is knowledgeable on the use of macros, vlookup, pivot tables, etc.
  • Has basic SQL knowledge

Remote employment will be considered.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
