This opportunity is in the Claims Department.

Our Claims department oversees both high-exposure workers' compensation and liability claims. As an unbundled carrier, we work actively with third-party administrators (TPAs) and self-administered accounts to assist in guiding claims to a successful resolution. As an excess carrier, the catastrophic claims we handle keep our group challenged, but the uniqueness provides plenty of growth opportunities.

Role Description:

In the role of Claims Maintenance Coordinator you will be responsible for various administrative tasks related to: creating, updating, changing, closing, and reopening claims in ClaimCenter and SICS.

Your day-to-day duties as Claims Maintenance Coordinator will include:

  • Handling claims reports from creation to close, making updates/changes as needed for all lines of business
  • Obtaining correct policy information for set up and file reference
  • Reviewing policy information to upload appropriate coverage forms for reported claims
  • Reviewing queues and reports for additional reported claims requiring updates or set up
  • Maintaining vendor listing for check requests

Qualifications:
Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • 45 WPM typing speed required
  • Works well independently with ability to take direction from various individuals

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years office experience preferred
  • Insurance or claims experience a plus

Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
