The Director, Organization Development is responsible for the development, launch, delivery and evaluation of programs, tools, and processes to build and sustain required organizational, professional, and leadership capability. This includes providing expertise and guidance to accelerate Maritz capabilities and effectively manage and develop our talent across the organization. You will co-create strategic solutions systemically and systematically to improve performance and operationalize cultural priorities.

Primary Responsibilities:

50% - Lead the implementation and management of a comprehensive talent management and organizational development strategy inclusive of skills development and culture building programs for Maritz with the partnership of the CPO. Nurture a learning culture and manage learning outcomes, achievements, and rewards across the enterprise. Assess the success of current learning and talent management programs (check-ins/performance reviews, new leader assimilations, Development Dimensions International (DDI) training curriculum, etc.) and adjust as necessary.

25% - Continuously evaluate current systems and processes and advocate for enhancements to support business objectives. Provides status reporting regarding defined milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues. Make recommendations on the use of external consultants and internal facilitators as a cost-effective out-sourcing strategy to provide executive talent programs.

25% - Create best practices, tools and resources for P&D Business Partners, people leaders and the business holistically. Leverages toolkit to evaluate needs, recommend solutions and facilitate, or support P&D Partners in facilitating, team effectiveness sessions with leadership teams and cross-functional workgroups. Provide thought leadership and consulting in the areas of learning & development and culture practices. Coach and mentor Learning and Development team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Business, or similar discipline is required. Master's Degree or additional professional certifications including DDI preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years general Human Resources experience.

  • Background in adult education, training, or human resource leadership.

  • Excellent group facilitation and project management skills.

  • Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions and work with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to look at situations systematically, taking into consideration the larger context including competing pressures, resource constraints and anticipated change.

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, processes, and methodologies including methods and techniques used in training assessment, design, development, and measurement preferred.
