The Solution Architect plays a pivotal role as a strategic leader, technical expert, and problem solver in guiding complex Power Platform projects with pro-code integrations towards successful outcomes. With a focus on driving innovation, aligning with business goals, and delivering high-quality solutions, the Solution Architect empowers organizations to thrive in the digital era. This role requires a seasoned professional with a minimum of 8 years of experience in solution architecture roles, possessing a deep understanding of the Power Platform and related technologies.

Moreover, this role will also encompass conducting industry-specific research to identify trends and opportunities for technological innovation, utilizing a value network analysis and information mapping approach. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in end-to-end system design, encompassing value analysis and solution designs.

Additionally, this position will require leveraging knowledge of Microsoft .NET, C#, and other Microsoft Stack languages and tools to design, develop, and integrate our clients' new and existing systems. The candidate will also be responsible for providing application support and training, while adhering to RSM's software development lifecycle (SDLC) policy. Effective communication skills are essential, as you will need to explain highly technical topics to clients in a clear and understandable manner. Furthermore, you will contribute to the growth of our practice by identifying and responding to market opportunities and client needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with the team in developing business and enterprise architecture strategy, providing insights, recommendations, and best practices to align technology solutions with business goals and objectives.
  • The Solution Architect will develop and communicate comprehensive solution designs that address complex business requirements while aligning with organizational goals. This includes leveraging appropriate technologies to craft solutions that meet and exceed expectations.
  • This role involves providing technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams. This encompasses developers, engineers, and analysts, ensuring they adhere to architectural best practices and standards.
  • The Solution Architect is responsible for creating and maintaining architectural roadmaps. These roadmaps ensure that solutions remain scalable, secure, and adaptable to future needs and challenges.
  • A key responsibility is to continuously assess and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks. This helps enhance solution capabilities and operational efficiency, keeping the organization at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions is crucial. This includes making critical design decisions that balance innovation with practical implementation.
  • The Solution Architect will design solutions that are scalable and high-performing. This responsibility is fundamental to handling increased workloads and maintaining optimal system response times.
  • Defining and overseeing integration strategies for seamless data flow between systems is essential. This ensures interoperability, efficiency, and the integrity of data across the organization.
  • Establishing and enforcing robust security measures, access controls, and compliance standards to protect sensitive data and meet regulatory requirements is a paramount responsibility.
  • The role involves developing and enforcing governance processes, coding standards, and architectural guidelines. This ensures solution consistency, quality, and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Identifying potential risks and challenges in solution design and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success is a key part of the role.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive architectural documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and design patterns, is essential for clear communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Engaging with stakeholders at various levels to communicate architectural decisions, progress updates, and the value of the solution to the organization is crucial for maintaining alignment and support.
  • Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and applying innovative solutions to complex problems, is expected to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensuring that the delivered solutions meet architectural standards, performance expectations, and overall quality criteria is a fundamental responsibility.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in solution architecture roles, with in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft cloud and development ecosystem.
  • Expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure Functions, and other relevant technologies, is required.
  • The ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions is essential. This includes proficiency in designing complex, scalable, and high-performance architectures.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills are required, along with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
