American Commercial Barge Line is seeking a skilled Salesforce Solutions Developer to design, develop, and deliver Salesforce solutions within our Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud ecosystem. This role involves collaborating closely with department leaders and subject matter experts to implement robust Salesforce enhancements that align with business objectives.

What you will be doing... Your IMPACT

  • Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization (APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components etc).
  • Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth and Single Sign-On, etc.
  • Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, and email Alerts.
  • Partner with cross-functional business teams to gather and analyze business objectives, define business requirements, enable testing of new features, and delivering project enhancements in support of the overall strategy.
  • Participate in scrum meetings, analyze assigned user stories, identify/resolve gaps in functional user stories/business requirements.
  • Manage the process of evaluating, communicating, testing, resolving issues and deploying Salesforce platform upgrades/releases as needed.
  • Debug and resolve issues and/or defects which may be faults in the production system.
  • Perform independent code reviews and write unit/integration test cases to achieve 85% test coverage.
  • Mentor and lead teams of other Team Members to keep projects on time and review quality of work done by the team.

What we are looking for...

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience optimizing business processes through the implementation and utilization of Salesforce software.
  • Experienced with advanced development tools and techniques such as JavaScript, Force.com SOAP and REST APIs, JSON, Objects, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce pages.
  • Experience developing test classes and ensuring code coverage within Salesforce system is required.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Apex, and development are strongly desired.
  • Experience using Source Control with projects is preferred.
