Wingtips Lounge is searching for an experienced and enthusiastic Lounge Agent who can provide exceptional customer service while properly checking in our lounge guests to a membership system, collecting payment when necessary, and enthusiastically sell/explain the lounge concept to inquiring guests. Ideal candidates are proficient in computer check in systems and can speak to guests in a positive and inviting tone. The Lounge Agent must be willing to prepare the food and beverages for guests. This position includes taking food and beverage orders, making, and serving those orders.

Daily Duties Preformed: Checking guests in, taking food/beverage orders, food preparation, food serving and bartending.

Currently, 2-3 team members work per shift. All agents preform the same duties. This position includes split tips.

Must be professional, well-kept, and well-groomed with no visible tattoos, facial piercings, or extreme makeup. Must possess a positive attitude and solution-oriented thought process.

Part-time shifts available. This position reports directly to the Lounge Supervisor & General Manager.

Customer Service Expectations:
The Lounge Agent must be helpful, friendly, courteous, and professional. The ideal candidate will have highly interactive personal skills and can engage with a wide variety of people. Must possess the ability to communicate with customers and fellow employees and serve as a team player under all types of conditions.

Every guest contact begins and ends with your smile. Sharp and professional business etiquette is required. Uniform is mandatory; partial uniform provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests, explain the lounge concept and accurately check guests in on system
  • Provide friendly and professional service to guests, communicating with them by name whenever possible
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with appropriate garnishment for guests at our main bar and throughout the lounge
  • Interact with guests, take customer orders, prepare drinks as requested and trained
  • Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Offer amenities to guests as needed
  • Cook, prepare and replenish food as necessary
  • Operate a variety of kitchen utensils to mix, wash, peel, cut, grind, stir, strain and season foodstuffs for cooking, serving and storing.
  • Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage
  • Oversee and assist with the appearance of food displays
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes
  • Brew coffee and tea as needed.
  • Assist in serving food to customers
  • Prep food for the next shift by replenishing supplies and restocking food.
  • Respond to guest requests for assistance or information on Airport/Airline operations.
  • Always maintains a clean and professional appearance
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Manage multiple guest tabs and correctly manage guest payment in a point-of-sale system
  • Perform close-out paperwork at the end of each shift including reconciling data
  • Preform closing duties for bar and kitchen: dishes cleaned, proper wipe down of facility, etc.
  • Stock and replenish lounge items as needed
  • Operate a credit card/electronic payment register and follows all cash-handling procedures as required
  • Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner
  • Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures
  • Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments
  • Attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
