Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Implementation Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, cloud computing, and AWS services. The AWS Implementation Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of AWS solutions for our clients, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AWS implementation projects from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and ensure adherence to timelines and financial targets.
- Coordinate resources, including internal teams, external vendors, and subcontractors, to execute project tasks effectively.
- Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to address them promptly.
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and report on progress to stakeholders regularly.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proven experience managing complex AWS implementation projects, including infrastructure migration, application modernization, and cloud-native development.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, solutions, and best practices, with a strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and design patterns.
- Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment is a plus.
