About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you will be developing & maintaining software platforms associated with next-generation audio, video, light & control systems in Harman's Professional Solutions SBU. You will collaborate and work closely with Harman personnel to develop and integrate software platforms to deliver successful products. .

Your Team

You will be reporting to the Sr. Manager, Software Engineering / R&D.


What You Will Do

  • Participate in developing, deploying & maintaining software platforms associated with next-generation audio, video & control systems.
  • Participate in the lifecycle of a software product including Requirement Management, Design, Development, Testing, Integration & Release Management.
  • Be part of a process-oriented culture for a team developing software products using agile methodologies.

What You Need

  • Pursuing a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
  • Experience in developing software applications in C++ and or C#.

What is Nice to Have

  • Experience with HTML / CSS / JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of Angular is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of QT is highly preferred.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to work in an office in Richardson, TX.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
  • Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Must provide full work availability from May 22, 2024, through August 11, 2024, and be able to work 40 hours per week depending on workload.
