Summary

The Senior Insurance Solutions Specialist is responsible for supporting and marketing the Firm's insurance products (Life, LTC and Disability) to Financial Advisors and clients. This includes creating and leading in the execution of marketing plans, setting direction and leading relationships with carriers and general agents. The Senior Insurance Solutions Specialist helps determine the overall training strategy for insurance products, creates and delivers presentations on advanced insurance concepts in-person and via electronic media, and serves as Firm's expert in products, and advanced insurance concepts for estate planning, business owners, and ultra-high net worth clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicates updates, maintains and coordinates sales strategies, marketing campaigns and branch visits to create product awareness and increase sales penetration of insurance products.
  • Travels to branch offices to meet with Financial Advisors, support staff and clients to deliver training and insurance solutions.
  • Works with Financial Advisors to assist in advanced insurance concepts related to ultra-high net worth clients, business owners including calls with clients.
  • Helps conduct due diligence on insurance providers and products.
  • Assists with the planning, organizing and execution of insurance-related conferences and meetings.
  • Assists with developing the insurance training strategy and delivering training sessions on insurance products on advanced concepts.
  • Mentors and helps train other associates.

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of advanced insurance concepts for ultra-high net worth client, business owners, and estate planning.
  • Advanced understanding of insurance products.
  • Strong knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, and sales techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of laws, legal codes, precedents, government regulations, and agency rules; familiarity with compliance issues surrounding insurance products.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or business related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum Required: 5+ years of industry experience.

Licenses & Credentials

  • Minimum Required: State Resident Insurance License, Life and Health.
  • Minimum Required: Series 7 & 63 and State Resident Insurance License, Life and Health within 6 months from start date.

Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
