COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Seeking an Elementary Education Major for Summer Intern position to help supervising teachers create a safe and engaged environment for the elementary summer program. Intern should understand the importance of classroom management and be able to meet the individual children's needs and interests, reflect on teaching practices and evaluate the effect of choices on students, colleagues, and families. Demonstrate supportive teacher-child relationships and promote positive peer relationships.
Position: Elementary Teacher (1st Grade (2) & 2nd Grade (2))

Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Monday - Friday
Duration: June 3 - July 12 (CLOSED July 4)
Hourly Rate: $15.00
Duration of Internship: June - August, estimated 9 weeks
