Summary

The International Digital Banking Operations Associate is responsible for driving departmental results for the ongoing support of Stifel's Digital Banking products. This position requires the ability to gain a sound understanding of department subject matter, including digital banking support, assisting with relevant training materials, and troubleshooting. This position will require collaboration among team members, Stifel Bank associates, and branch office personnel to provide high-level customer service under direct supervision while following established procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accurately provides phone support with high-level customer service.
  • Identifies potential problems or issues and escalates to department leadership if necessary.
  • Develop effective communication skills with clients, Stifel Branch personnel, Stifel Bank Associates, and within the department.
  • Proficiently supports banking industry-related questions, department banking procedures, and research branch and client inquiries.
  • Assists clients with Banking Products such as debit cards, credit cards, Digital Online Banking, and other banking products.
  • Provides timely updates on the progression of job responsibilities to leadership.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively within a team and with other areas in the firm.
  • Manages incoming calls and keeps a record of caller interactions.
  • Provides the highest quality of customer service through written and verbal communication.
  • Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward callers.

Qualifications

  • Spanish fluency with the ability to speak and read English and Spanish regarding review of documents.
  • Other Latin American languages are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow up on open tasks.
  • Strong phone interaction skills and active listening.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to learn Stifel's Digital Banking Products and Stifel policies that pertain to the department and the firm.
  • Working knowledge of financial services applications, systems, terminology, and procedures.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma - Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum Required: 1+ years of professional business-related experience.

Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Premier/Navigator experience is a plus but not required.
