About the role

The Team Resource Manager (TRM) is responsible for team performance and initiating activities in support of factory operations. Manage department employees involved in functions of manufacturing including all aspects of environmental, health and safety, mentoring, training, communicating maintenance needs, interfacing with material management, ensuring quality procedures are followed. Leading and sustaining improved culture keeping in line with KPI metrics ensuring site delivery of world class in the key areas of Line Efficiencies, Quality, and Cost while meeting our high standards of Safety, Customer Service, and Teamwork.

Your responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and productive environment by adhering to all safety rules and report any unsafe conditions. Complies with all appropriate regulatory agencies, regulations, rules, policies, and procedures (i.e., Federal, State, Corporate, Plant - EEOC, OSHA, EPA, FDA, GMP, etc.)
  • Providesproduction team members with constant communication, guidance, coaching and support necessary to perform their jobs effectively and accurately. Identify short-, medium-, and long-term staffing needs and maintain staffing as needed with appropriate support functions.
  • Supports development and implementation of Continuous Improvement/Lean processes and projects resulting in annual cost savings. Also supports/manages NPD/EPD activity within respective areas. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
  • Performs all management functions including performance evaluation, training & development, coaching, feedback, and corrective action as needed for an hourly workforce.
  • Troubleshoots any processing, equipment, or utilities problems. Communicates support needs to the Maintenance Manager and/or Maintenance Lead prior to job start-up.
  • Monitors the timeliness of machine set-ups, validations and/or materials delivery and expedites as necessary. Ensures quality, safety and productivity.
  • Reviews daily operating results and monitors trends in labor usage, line downtime, quality rejects, etc. Oversees all activities performed by operators and technicians during shift.
  • Ensures all accident and near-misses are investigated and actioned within a timely manner.
The experience we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree (Logistics, Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred)
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in a production setting
  • Must be flexible in supporting all shifts (including working off-shifts) when needed.
  • Must work well under pressure and demonstrate above average mathematical, analytical and soft skills.
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Must be able to interact effectively with a variety of individuals and personalities within and between departments.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced Team environment.
  • Ability to plan and take initiative to resolve work related issues.
  • Time management and organizational skills.

US salary ranges

USD $66,000 - $102,000

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
