SummaryResponsible for providing objective and comprehensive analytical support by forecasting, financial modeling, coordinating variance analysis, and performing special project work to support the objectives and initiatives of the financial and operational functions of MiTek. This role will work to build strong partnerships across the organization, track and report on financial performance, as well as provide analysis and guidance to support opportunities.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements

What you will do

  • Financial Planning: Support the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various verticals to gather accurate and comprehensive financial forecasts. Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support long-term strategic planning and scenario analysis.
  • Forecasting and Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, highlighting key drivers and variances. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Management Reporting: Generate and deliver timely and accurate financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting performance against budget and KPIs. Work closely with FP&A leaders to understand and communicate financial results.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and provide financial guidance. Partner with operational teams to develop financial metrics that align with strategic objectives.
  • Cost Management: Analyze cost structures and identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements. Provide recommendations for resource allocation and budget reallocations based on business priorities.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital projects, and investment decisions. Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess potential impacts on financial performance.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Finance required or
  • Bachelors Accounting required or
  • Bachelors Related Field required
  • 4+ Years Experience in financial planning and analysis roles preferred
  • Able to use Microsoft Office Applications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial planning software.

This role is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role.
