Job Description

Primary responsibility


Monitor and perform work required to support academic operations and administrative activities in the College of Nursing.


Characteristic Duties

  • Provide support for faculty including but not limited to:
    • Assist with committee business including scheduling, invitations, roster, agendas, minutes, record retention, food orders, flyers, and templates.
    • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other materials on behalf of faculty for review and final signature.
    • Assist with arrangements for guest lecturers.
    • Deliver mail and maintain an accurate mailbox directory.
    • Support department specific events.
  • Assist with development of course materials and activities, including but not limited to:
    • Submit book orders and review book adoptions.
    • Solicit, collect, track and file syllabi in Microsoft Teams. Provide historical syllabi to former students as needed.
    • Schedule room assignment for exams and provide copies of exams, as needed.
  • Keep faculty and staff workrooms and kitchens supplied in two nursing buildings within the College of Nursing.
    • Create and maintain an inventory list of supplies and restock workrooms.
    • Responsible for inventory and ordering paper for copy machines.
    • Stock supplies in kitchens.
  • Support clinical compliance coordinator.
    • Liaison with clinical partners in support of students.
    • Interact with students to prepare for preceptorship.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $19.50 hourly
