Job Description

The Aegion Products Group is seeking an experienced sales professional to support the growth of our cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) technologies supplied by Manufactured Technologies Co., LLC (MTC). The position will work directly with internal and external customers and be eligible to work remotely based within the United States.

Description by Area of Responsibility

Our Inside Sales Representative will focus on lead generation, data administration and information sharing to increase sales revenue and margin with existing and new customers. Additional responsibilities include:

Sales Support

  • Maintaining and expanding sales leads within our CRM (Salesforce) daily/weekly
  • Analyzing early lead detection data to build future opportunities - i.e., respond to inquiries submitted to customer service or through online portal.
  • Active outreach to find potential new customers - i.e., routinely make cold calls, attend trade shows and time spent on professional social media (LinkedIn)
  • Working closely with our Business Development Managers/VP to identify, cultivate and close business opportunities to help establish/grow new and existing customer relationships
  • Learning MTC product portfolio to assist with generating technical proposals and submittals to contractors, consulting engineers and job owners (as needed)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years prior CIPP sales experience required, including technical products to the municipal, industrial water or power industries
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is highly desired
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED, college education (2 or 4-year degree) such as BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering) or a BA/BS in Business, is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and time management skills are required due to the strong commercial element of the work
  • Ability to maintain a high-quality work product, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint
  • Social Media experience with LinkedIn a plus
  • Ambitious self-starter with a strong work ethic, good organizational skills, attention to detail, and dedication to a team environment
