This intern position is a part of a hybrid work model, 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, and based out of the Staples Promotional Products Corporate facility in St. Louis, Missouri.

What you'll be doing:

  • Gathering requirements from cross-functional partners to support SPP user data optimization
  • Data classification and structure modeling (SPPOne, Marketing Tools, Salesforce, LINC), gap assessment to support data cleanup efforts, and data visualization recommendations (PowerBI).
  • Partner with key stakeholders to craft a project plan for technology development and data cleansing needs
  • Collecting requirements, acceptance criteria, and required data points for reporting at the correct granularity for data-related projects
  • Help design and build the aggregates for Sales and digital marketing data flows.

Qualifications :

What's needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's in an IT/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering major, enrolled as a full-time student carrying a minimum of 12 college credits
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong Excel skills: ability to use databases, shell scripting, SQL scripting, and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of database design, relational modeling, and Normalization and De-Normalization.
  • Experience with data visualization tools likePower BI, Business Objects, and Tableau.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enjoy working in teams and being highly communicative.
  • Able to multi-task and be flexible to new initiatives.
