Donaldson Assembly Technicians are responsible for the fabrication of aerospace and defense filtration components and must efficiently perform these tasks while keeping accurate records and following company/regulatory procedures. The selected candidate will have technical and mechanical skills to conduct close tolerance hole drilling, countersinking, fastener installation, rivet installation, trimming, and assembly. Additionally, they must be able to use (or learn to use) micrometers, rulers, and calipers to conduct in-process inspections.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of engine air filtration systems for aircraft
  • Ensure compliant manufacture and workmanship of assemblies, as defined by engineering data and plant procedures
  • Work with and around a variety of chemicals and follow all standards regarding PPE
  • Interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and other documents to ensure proper build completion
  • Effectively document job completion paperwork
  • Accurately and efficiently manage records and timekeeping.
  • Other duties as required

Qualification Requirements:

Education/Training:

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant license a plus, but not required
  • Military experience is a plus

Desirable Attributes:

  • Positive Attitude
  • Must be a team player with strong communications skills and attention to detail
  • Availability to work overtime as necessary
  • Familiarity with drawings, specifications, and work instructions a plus
