Summary

This role is a member of the Cash Management and Banking Services team, which is responsible for Brokerage Cash Management Accounts, the Bank Sweeps Program, Stifel Bank Deposit Accounts, Credit Cards programs and the Firm's payments strategy. This will require partnership with Bank Operations, Brokerage Operations, Financial Advisors, and client support teams in support of shared clients and a seamless client experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • This person is a subject matter expert in all things deposits and payments with the ability to articulate functionality to clients, sales, operations and vendors alike.
  • A guardian of the client experience this role partners with Private Banking, Digital Solutions, Bank Operations, Brokerage Operations, Marketing and Client Services teams to ensure superior digital delivery, superior product setup and superior operational execution.
  • Works at the intersection of business and technology, tasked with identifying and articulating business needs and turning them into business requirements and functionality to bridge our business teams and our technology teams/vendors.
  • Requires ability to work directly with clients at their locations or via WebEx or phone in support of setup and advance support situations.
  • Works closely with vendor-partners in the identification of best-of-breed products and services and then coordinating/leading cross-functional teams for both the technical and operational implementation and support.
  • Reviews, edits and at times creates business processes and procedures related to the products and services as a way to build and retain institutional knowledge.
  • Interviews, investigates and communicates with clients and internal stakeholders to determine what is and is not working. Takes ownership, prioritizes appropriately, and proposes business and technical solutions to solve issues.

Qualifications

  • Clearly communicates in verbal and written forms potentially complex issues or concepts.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly, identify patterns, trends, and gaps on any given topic or situation.
  • Passionate learner of new concepts and willing to tackle uncertainty with enthusiasm.
  • The ability to recognize when meaningful action is required and assume the additional responsibility needed to tackle the challenge at hand.
  • Able to take ownership, prioritizes appropriately, and propose business solutions to solve issues

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years' related experience in financial services required. Previous experience working with financial advisors or clients in a wealth management setting preferred.

    Systems & Technology

    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
    • Understands client/server computing architecture, user interfaces, and application programing interfaces.
    • Understand concepts related to relational databases. Ability to write SQL queries is preferred but not required.
