BUSINESS ANALYST

Be part of an entrepreneurial environment! Your primary responsibilities will be:

Participates in project committees as assigned. Contributes to the development of project plans.

  • Completes assigned project deliverables on schedule and with high quality. Handles multiple assignments concurrently. May assist as a project lead on smaller projects.
  • Participates and can lead agile development processes defined by the teams. This includes sprint planning, execution, quality control, identifying improvement opportunities, and reporting.
  • Assists support staff in the resolution of routine business and system problems.
  • Assists in the analysis and design of innovative and cost-effective alternatives to application system utilization.
  • Under specific direction, assists with the documentation of accurate and concise business requirement specifications. Supports the technical staff during the development of design specifications.
  • Develops test conditions, test scripts and performs test validation to ensure that the appropriate level of testing is performed prior to implementing system changes.
  • Functions as knowledgeable application resource on specific segments of an application system.
  • Supports application and business policies required to ensure that compliance and legal requirements are met. Supports the use of Information Systems project development and testing processes / tools.
  • Under general direction manages individual assignments appropriated to ensure that task deliverables are completed on schedule and with high quality. Prepares detailed status reports as required.
  • Assists in the documentation / review of application reference materials utilized by business clients.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
What Do You Need for this Position?

We are seeking talented individuals with the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of business process or data analysis experience, preferably in the financial industry.
  • At least three years of experience and/or training in in a related field with an emphasis in project work, customer service and/or application support; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working Knowledge and experience using various software development lifecycles. Agile and Kanban experience working with sprint teams, contributing to development boards, and familiarity with product backlogs.
  • Solid analytical skills, detail oriented with the ability to prioritize work and manage time with little direction.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Familiarity with banking processes and practices preferred.
  • Experience working within Azure a plus
