Position Details

Senior Operations Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES will include the following, along with other duties that may be assigned:

Cash ordering and balancing, Subpoena processing and Unclaimed Property processing will be part of the responsibilities of this position.

Evaluates, analyzes, and researches department procedures, market changes, vendor options, communications, and issues within various departments.

Develops methodology for both internal processes as well as liaison workflow between other areas of the Bank.

Visits departments and conducts surveys, audits, and evaluations in order to make recommendations for improvements.

Standardized procedures as well as a central focal point will be developed.

Analyzes and manages projects such as improvements through software solutions. Which will be accomplished through coordination of all appropriate companies and bank members through planning, testing and organizing the prospective change. Projects can involve a wide range of functionality and are usually unique or provide new technology.

Works with the Policy/Procedure Manager to determine improvements to departmental communication. Assists in updates and provides information for development of procedures and methodology.

Works with Learning and Development to include improvements through analyzation, new technology, vendor options, and changes to procedures and methodology.

What Do You Need for this Position?
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least three (3) years bank operations experience, or a minimum of three (3) years in-house experience in multiple functional areas within Deposit Operations
  • An expert-level of knowledge and significant experience in one or more specific subgroups within Deposit Operations (ie: IRAs, Wires, etc.)
  • Above average PC proficiency in Word and Excel; '10 key by touch' is required
  • Multi-lingual, a plus
