Position Details

The Family Wealth Advisor will act as "Team Lead" responsible for directing and delivering the ongoing service and wealth advice to a wealth management client relationship.

Every wealth client will be assigned a wealth team that will consist of: Family Wealth Advisor, Portfolio Manager, Director of Client Success & Advice (Planning), Trust Officer (if appropriate), or Client Services Associate/Operations. The Family Wealth Advisor will be assigned an existing book of wealth management clients and will be responsible for bringing in new wealth clients, new assets under Management (AUM), identify and book new credit and Insurance opportunities, and coordinating the overall delivery of wealth management services.

A wealth client will have direct access to individual members of their wealth team and can contact them directly at any time, part of the "high touch" wealth management service. The FWA will ultimately be responsible for overall service of the relationship, client meetings and coordination of wealth services customized for the client.

The Family Wealth Advisor is the driver of sales, new AUM, and new client acquisition. In this sales development capacity, the FWA will act as the brand ambassador/ representative of First Bank Wealth Management in their respective market and build relationships with key partners/individual from Commercial, Retail, and Mortgage Banking. This will include planning and hosting successful client and prospect events highlighting First Bank and First Bank Wealth Management with eventual new client business.

Salesforce is First Bank's official Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and will create a 360 total view of a client relationship across the bank including commercial, retail, wealth management and mortgage banking. The Family Wealth Advisor will be responsible for acting on and tracking all internal wealth management referrals assigned to them in Salesforce and converting to their sales pipeline to close.

The FWA will represent and actively engage on weekly, monthly, quarterly pipeline calls with these internal partners to share info from wealth management, report of referral success, and encourage cross referral business. This will assist in being a source generator of referrals to Wealth Management. Through the wealth discovery process, many other services will be uncovered for each client relationship and the FWA in turn can refer business to other areas of the bank and measure closed cross referred business.

What Do You Need for this Position?

Responsible for all aspects of representing First Bank Wealth Management to clients, prospects, centers of influence and internal partners.

Responsible for increasing wealth revenue by actively participating in business development activities to identify, pursue and acquire new clients.

Leads a team of Wealth Management partners to deliver advice and solutions to clients and prospects resulting in high client satisfaction, low client turnover, increased assets under management and annual revenue growth.

To increase net new clients, builds partnerships with First Bank retail, commercial, and mortgage divisions to increase awareness of Wealth offerings as well as ensure appropriate channels for referrals and joint client presentations with other divisions

Serves as a resource for the Wealth team and acts as a project leader as needed.

Provides thought leadership in all areas of managing high net worth clients or families.

Manages an existing book of First Bank Wealth Management clients.

Completes mandatory account reviews for assigned accounts.

Actively makes client recommendations consistent with the client's financial plan and Investment Policy Statement.

Serves as a brand ambassador to heighten awareness of First Bank Wealth Management in the applicable geographic area.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
