Position Overview:

The Client Engagement Associate is integral in both leading and supporting various client (internal and external) facing projects. The responsibilities of this position include project leadership, account management, and business development support. The Associate will have direct contact with various levels of client teams. The position may include travel of approximately 25% of the year.

You'll playing an active role in all aspects of client engagement. This includes gathering and analyzing information, developing and communicating recommendations as well as implementing solutions. Our clients include Fortune 50 companies, professional sports teams, non-profit organizations and a range of additional companies in the private, public and social sectors.

Areas of Focus:

Project Management and Execution

  • Build and execute multiple project plans simultaneously including presenting relevant updates to stakeholders
  • Identify information sources, gather and interpret data, execute analysis, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify, negotiate and coordinate third party support for projects and service offerings

Facilitation

  • Facilitate content modules and co-facilitate client workshops and experiences
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the theories and thinking behind each module they facilitate
  • Draw from personal leadership experiences (if applicable) to create and deliver stories and examples that help demonstrate the ideas, tools and principles embedded in the content and help participants connect to them

Business Development and Client Support

  • Support client account management activities working towards independent account management responsibilities
    • Primary driver of client communication
    • Answers client questions, collaborating with a Partner when necessary
    • Coordinating all pre and post-event client communication, including drafting templates for client
    • Responsible for client research and analysis
  • Work with C & Co. senior leaders to source new leads to drive the impact development initiatives
  • Draft proposals for new client opportunities
  • Conduct research to support impact development initiatives and proposal development
  • Use CRM system to collect impact development activities and identify opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • Outstanding records of academic and managerial or professional achievement
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Strong record of leadership in an academic, professional, or extracurricular setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Willingness to travel
