Job Description:


To assist in the production of machines used for platic tubing processing, including assembly of machines, testing and product development.


  • Assist in the assembly of machines including wiring, pneumatics and tooling platforms
  • Install components including machine induction power supplies and other electronic and pneumatic parts and assemblies
  • Read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics
  • Position may include downloading software to machines using PC based PLC and HMI programming software (Omron)
  • Knowledge of MIG/TIG and OXY/ Acetyelne soldering.
  • Sheet Metal fabrication or modification skills.
  • Be responsible for initial testing of machine functionality
  • Position may also involve further debugging of machines and product development associated with customers needs
  • Position may be required to assist and communicate with customers the technical aspects of the product and assist in product planning, installation, operation and training, which may involve some customer support including FAT and SAT activities at their facility.
  • Position may be responsible for aspects of a product line.
  • In this capacity position is responsible for appropriately documenting assembly progress and any issues found, associated with the process or machine
  • Ad-hoc projects as needed

Education and Experience:

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in a relevant field of study and 5+ years of related experience; or 8+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Skills:

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

This position requires the ability to stand or sit at a machine for up to 8 hours a day, common use of hands to handle, feel and touch, and ability to reach. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs at a time.

The following vision requirements are needed:

  • Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
  • Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)


This position is in a loud, manufacturing environment near moving mechanical parts.
