Security Escort Lead
As a Security Escort Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and secure movement of individuals within restricted areas. You will oversee and lead a team of security escorts, manage daily operations, and maintain a high level of security and confidentiality. Your responsibilities will include coordinating escort schedules, liaising with clients, and implementing security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of security escorts.
- Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
- Foster a culture of professionalism, security awareness, and exceptional customer service within the team.
- Escort Coordination:
- Schedule and assign security escorts to accompany clients as needed, ensuring adequate coverage for all escort requests.
- Maintain a detailed log of escort assignments and activities.
- Monitor the progress of escort missions and address any issues or concerns in real-time.
- Security Protocols:
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and procedures, including access control, verification of credentials, and adherence to confidentiality requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of security policies and procedures to enhance effectiveness and mitigate risks.
- Client Communication:
- Establish and maintain strong communication channels with clients to understand their security needs and preferences.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Incident Management:
- Respond to and manage security incidents or breaches involving escorts, clients, or assets.
- Investigate and report incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of escort activities, incidents, and any security-related incidents.
- Prepare reports summarizing escort operations, security incidents, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED with Minimum five (5) years of experience in security management or a similar role.
- Masters degree or Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is a plus
- Strong knowledge of security principles, access control, and confidentiality protocols.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions and adapt to changing security situations.
- Security certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Professional, Certified Security Manager) preferred.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Ability to obtain & maintain Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph clearance
